LeafConnectXF is an unofficial app for remotely controlling your Nissan Leaf.
The app connects to the Nissan Connect / Carwings site. You need a working account there.
LeafConnectXF is available in:
The Apple App Store for iOS devices version 9.0 and higher,
The Google Play Store for Android devices version 4.5 and higher,
The Microsoft App Store for Windows 10 devices, Build 15063 and higher.
You can:
1.
Manage multiple cars with the same logon
credentials and/or have multiple logon credentials for your cars
2.
Save the password for your account
(otherwise the app will ask your password on every logon)
3.
Select your distance unit (Km/Miles)
4.
Select a display language (English,
Dutch, German, French, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Italian, Polish)
5.
Get the latest battery status
6.
Check if the car is plugged in
7.
Check if the car is charging
8.
Start charging (if the car is plugged in
and on timer)
9.
Get the estimated range (with and without
the climate control)
10.
Turn on/off the climate control
11.
Set a climate control timer
Some comments:
1.
If logging on fails. Double check the Username
and Password fields, they are both case sensitive and make sure you selected
the right Region.
2.
If logging on still fails. On the Nissan
website you can find your mail address and a user ID. Try them both in the User
Name field.
3. Some
commands only need communication with the Nissan website, other commands need
communication with your car. This will take around 25 seconds.
4. You
do not have to wait for the status update from the car if you only want to
switch on the Climate control. As soon as the switch gets enabled you can use
it.
